Amanda Claire Starbuck is the Research Director for the environmental advocacy group Food & Water Watch. Born and raised in North Dakota, she grew up with a deep connection to the prairie landscape, which continues to inspire both her advocacy work and her art. She moved to Washington, DC as a young adult to pursue graduate school and spent 13 years in the city working for various nonprofits. She now works remotely and lives with her family in the foothills of Colorado.
